  1. Updated to S3 for free!!! WOO HOO!!! Thanks for the help!!! Greg
  2. Is it possible to upgrade or update my S2 software to S3? I know that you used to be able to update from S1 to S2. Is this this case, or do I have to purchase the new S3 software as if I've never had S2? I hope it can be updated or upgraded at a discounted rate, as I bought the S2 advanced about a year ago...I'm hoping that the software is supported and comes with updates...
  3. Here is the link to the story about us in the Gainesville Sun from this morning!!! http://www.gainesville.com/article/20101219/ARTICLES/101219544/1004/living?p=2&tc=pg Greg
  4. Ok - finally got a video published onto YouTube - Please let me know what you think! Keep in mind that there are additional lights on the side and in the back, just don't have that on video yet... Thanks, Greg
  5. What's with the kids running back and forth???? hahahahaha
  6. Not sure how high your lights are, but one year, I just put a big box over the thing. Wrap it up like a present, and it'll fit in just fine... We're in a new neighborhood now, and our lights are more old fashioned looking, and I can access the top of the light with probably a 12-15 foot ladder. I plan to climb up there on Friday to see if I can open the housing and temporarily remove the bulb. I only want it off for a huge party we're having on Saturday...If that doesn't work, then it's back to the big box idea... Greg
  7. This is awesome!!!! Great job with the snowman!!! Greg
  8. Here's my new FM sign...It's wire frame and measures 6 feet high by 7 feet wide. I don't think anyone will miss this one!!! Greg Attached files
  9. Greetings to our LOR friends in Germany!!! I am sure everything will be fine. The Light-O-Rama staff is amazing and it will only be a matter of time before they read this thread and contact you. However, in the mean time, if you look at the top of the "Newbie" forum, you will see an admin post by LightORamaDan. Click on his name and select, "Send a Private Message"...You can then send a message directly to Dan. As mentioned, you will be contacted... Good luck, and congrats on your purchase!!! Greg
  10. Then go buy more cords... Greg
  11. I have the Range Star from Dagco Electronics...Amazing range, and very clear...I'm surprised I don't hear of anyone else with this transmitter...At $140 shipped, it's a great deal!!! Greg
  12. With LED's, I suggest wrapping up the unused section and wrapping them with duct tape or electrical tape. Because the lights are so small, it is easy to do this. Plus, you don't have to worry about the rest of your strand not working. Throw the unused portion in the gutter or duct tape it to the roof. You won't be able to see the extra strand at night, just wrap it tight... Greg
  13. Hey there...I'm in Alachua, FL which is about 40 miles to GA if you head straight north on I-75... Couple of things - as mentioned, you don't HAVE to edit the programming. I have a 32 channel Queen of the Winter Night that I got from someone else, and it looks great. I have edited 12 other songs to fit my display, but Queen looks cool because the lights are just random.... And, as a suggestion with the inflatables - I have my fans running on constant power from a regular outlet with a timer (the fans are not on an LOR channel). But, what I did, was cut the cord to the lights and added a male plug to the end on the inside of the inflatable. Then, I ran extension cords from inside the inflatable to the LOR controller. So, the inflatables stay inflated, but they light up to the sequences. Greg
