  1. AMEN!!!! I finally fixed it........
  2. I have a mega tree split into two networks using CCP controllers. Aux A - controllers 7, 8, 9, and 0A, Aux B - 0B, 0C, 0D, and 0E. I am having an issue with 3 controllers on Aux B. 0B, 0D, and 0E (1, 3 and 4 in that order) 0C, unit 2 on Aux B, works fine and in sync with Aux A. On every one of my sequences there is a delay in my lights during scenes, morphs, etc. When the morph starts from the bottom and goes up, the lights are ahead by 1/2 a second and when they reach the top they are at a full second. All my set sequences are out of line because of these three rogue controllers. Another example when the morphs go down from the top, these three controllers trigger on command with the sequence, but are ahead one second to the bottom. I have also noticed that on slow morphs, the lights get ahead even faster, it's like they are doing the opposite of the scene. Basically one side of my tree is out of line. I have replaced my cables, reset my controllers, checked my channel configuration, changed my network speed up and down, replaced my USB with the red ones, switch com ports..... I have done just about everything except ask for these three controllers to be replaced. I have a ticket opened for assistance and so far there have been no solutions. I was told it was a buffering issue, but can't locate anything on correcting this or why it's doing this. I know I have posted this issue before on this forum, but can't find it anywhere anymore. It's like it vanished..... Has anyone run into this issue before? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
  3. I am going to try to explain this, hopefully someone understands what I am trying to state and can help..... I have 8 CCP's separated into two networks, AUX A and AUX B. On my first and last controllers on AUX B, the lights and sequences are not timing correctly. When the morph goes down from the top, the light strands on these units is off by a second or two. When there is a morph from the bottom (where they lights are started from) these strands are ahead by one or two seconds. My sequencing is timed correctly to the music, it's just these two strands are faster in doing the morphs or slower (from the top) when doing the morphs. If I do a morph around (horizontally) the first 10 pixels on all channels along the bottom, these two controllers light up about 16 pixels instead of just the ten. It's almost like everything is double from the bottom up. When there is a morph along the top (horizontally) around each strand, these two controllers do not light up any pixels until they exceed 10 pixels. So if the morph only controls 10 each per strand, these don't light. When it goes to 11, these strands only light 1 pixel each. It's like the whole row of lights for these two controllers are shifted up by 6 pixels. Any ideas why this is doing this? I am running 500K on red usb485.
  4. My CCP controllers are not working and I was told I needed to update my firmware for the controllers. I followed all the right steps, but when I get to updating I get an error that says Load Failed and Not Correct Firmware for Controller. I currently have CCB100 Ver 1.16 and was told I need to update to CCR150D V1-17. Looking on the website it appears with the CCB100 Ver 1.16 I already have the correct version.
  5. I have never run the visualization before. I have always programmed in seq editor and run the show in simple show builder. Any documents out on how to do that? My firmware is updated. Let me step back and start from the beginning....I have 5 LOR 16 channel controllers and 8 CCP controllers. They were all daisy chained and running from my main com port. The CCP's were at the end and it was choppy and sluggish. I was told I needed to separate into AUX networks and increase the speed. I did that ran one test and the rest is where we are now..... 6. I added a mega tree this year to my display. I split my tree between two auxiliary networks, 4 CCP on one Aux and 5 on the other. I went into Network Preferences, I think it's labeled, and raised the speed to 500K. The three com ports were recognized. Com 3 was the main, Com 4 Aux A and Com 5 Aux B. When I controlled the lights from the Sequence Editor it only played Com 4, Aux A. The main com and Aux B did not play. I went back in thinking it was a speed issue, so I lowered the speed on all ports, when I did this, only the second controller under Com 4 lighted, but it was more of a morph between red and green and the whole strand did not light. I made some changes again to the com ports and tried again but got the same results. I changed the Com Ports around and on the third attempt I got the Main network to run the LOR controllers, but nothing on Aux A or B....... Where am I going wrong? How can I get all three Com Ports to play together?
  7. Ok I have bigger issues now. I split my tree between two auxiliary networks, 4 CCP on one Aux and 5 on the other. 8. Thank you for the information. I am going to change it to 500K and change to two aux networks. I was afraid that was the issue, but glad to know it's fixable.....I hope!
  9. Just got back in town and initiated my show (set up a few weeks before leaving) but my CCP tree (new this year) is "sluggish". It starts in sequence with the music, but by the end of the song, it's at least 15 seconds behind. Any suggestions on correcting this? I am running 8 CCP controllers for a total of 18 strings on an AUX network. Is this to many?
  10. I am working with CCP's this year on a mega tree and read a few spots where it is recommended to secure them to a wire or string. Does anyone have any suggestions on a method of securing them? Would zip ties damage the pixels or wires if secured to tight and if so, how do you secure the CCP's to a string so they don't slide down when hung? Thanks!!!
  11. I added two new controllers this year to the two I already had. I set up the controllers and linked them together. Units 1 and 2 work fine, unit 3 does not. It is being recognized, but does not do any output. When I turn everything on, I get the solid light. I reset the controller unit ID a few times to 3, but this did not help. I then decided to change it to 1, this worked. I then changed it to 2, that worked. Changed it to 3 and nothing!! I changed controllers and the same thing. Unit 3 is not reading. I changed the controllers around and still unit 3 does not work, no matter which controller I set to unit 3. Linked or separately, unit 3 is not outputting. To add more to it, I ran a test of all 4 last night together, they worked! Any ideas on what is going on and how to try and fix it?
