  1. I will check this one out. drdelong@outlook.com Thanks!
  2. I thought i remember reading a post about the beta period ending 6/30/2018. Will the current version of S5 quit working at that point?
  3. I ran last years show on it and it is even further along now. I don't see why not.
  4. OK, got it. Nice. Great job on the new version. Everything looking good so far. My preview is looking better than ever with the spiral 360 tree option. All my wrapped trees now look correct.
  5. Thank You, Thank You. Pasting now works like before. Thanks Matt!
  6. Users can now dock sequence windows to different positions within the main window, allowing sequences to be viewed side-by-side. Reported by users arnolddeleon and dougd. Cant figure out how to do this. Anyone gotten this new feature to work?
  7. I know you are sworn to secrecy. Will there be a new beta release or final release of S5 at the expo? BTW, Steak N Shake is the best value burger out there for sure. Good chili too.
  8. Version 4.3.26, I get an error of "maximum number 512 of props allowed" and cant add a new prop. I probably have 150 props in my current visualizer. When I edit the xml file I can see props that have long been deleted but are still in the xml file. Is there any way to fix this, just deleting the ID's at the top, those are the old ones isnt working.
  9. I figured there would be one more beta, then release at expo. Seems like there have been several issues. Nothing major but issues still.
  10. Any idea when the next beta will be released? I assume there will be at least one more beta before final release. Looking forward to it when ever it hits. Check in everyday looking for something. Any info would be nice, not looking for a specific day, just curious.
  11. In S5, your assigned preview holds all the channel information. To get the grid to look the same, go to sequence/grid configuration.
  12. Here is how I would decide. Watch a bunch of Christmas videos. Some you know are LOR, some that are Xlights. Then watch some where you are not sure but all of a sudden you can figure out which software it is. Which ever displays you like better, use that software. Hardware, I use Sandevices, simply because they were one of the first to come out with a DIY board. Today they all make pixels blink. Cost is where I would choose.
  13. Did a brand new preview for this year. When I added props I didn't assign channels, figured I would do this after everything was added. I open my preview and go to channel summary to start adding channels. I get 1 edited and click on the second one to edit and the editor crashes every time. I tried it 3 or 4 times with the same results every time. Here is the error. 14. I have 64 pixels on some mini trees. For the last few years, for the ease of converting from traditional lights, I did hardware grouping of 4 pixels so in the sequence editor each tree had only 16 pixels. This year I was wanting to change them to 64 pixels and use no hardware grouping. When I convert my programming from last year, I have 16 pixels worth of data that now I need to be 64 pixels worth of data. I have been using the clipboard flipper to accomplish this and it has worked nicely. I was just thinking this would be a nice new feature. Copy 16 pixels worth of sequencing, and paste to stretch height and it would change it to 64 pixels worth of data.. A chase that lasted .5 seconds over 16 pixels would still be .5 seconds long but now chase across 64 pixels of sequencing. Another example of needing something like this. Last year my mega tree was 50 pixels high, this year I want it to be 75 pixels. It has been very time consuming to make this change. It could be easy, paste to fit - height and the sequence editor would do all the work for me. Would love to see this new feature in S5. What was that email to send suggestions to LOR?
  15. Awesome news Matt. Cant wait. Thanks for the update.
  16. Thanks for the reply Matt. If you need any additional information just let me know.
  17. Uninstalled, did a registry wipe and it seems to be working now. Never had to do all that before.
  18. Video of how painful copy and paste is. My beta days are over if no response is submitted, not sure why I should waste my time without even 1 response from anyone from LOR. Any comment would be better than silence. Almost 3 minutes to copy 1/2 second worth of sequence. Clipboard was only 3 meg.
  19. Windows 10 pro, 8 gig ram, I7 processor. This started yesterday. I can no longer choose a view. Import in my grid with 4 views and will not change to any other view. Here is a video. 5.018 LOR
  20. Matt, I see you replying to a lot of posts. No love this way?
  21. Views, are sort of like tracks in S5. There is a drop down above all the props in S5. CLick on that and choose add a view. After that select the props you want to add to that view. You can then re-arrange how you want them to look in that view. Hopefully that helps.
  22. Matt, any comments here? 3 week old thread and nothing at all mentioned.
  23. Make sure you dont have any motion effect rows in there or it will mess up a paste.
  24. 3 days away. Looks like we have a good crowd. Quite a few door prizes. Would love to see a few more LORers there. Check out the Facebook group for more info. If you dont do Facebook just message me. https://www.facebook.com/groups/810575302400648/
