  1. I don't remember how to tell the controller to be at other end of ribbon. I want channel 1 to be away from controller. Anyone know where this setting is? I have looked through the hardware settings.
  2. Using S3 advanced. After copying a timing (any length) and pasting, it will only paste everything in the block selected (wont paste complete timing in same timeings as copied). I have never had this problem but this is my first time using the advanced version. Any ideas?
  3. All of the controllers I have seen built by LOR have used hot glue to help secure the top side where the black tabs are. That way its not just the solder holding the connector into place. I have gone though and glued all of my connectors that were not already done by LOR. I have damaged two now by just trying to disconnect the cat 5 cable. Good Luck!
  4. I think you should be okay. I didnt use a sub sequence. All I did was use the instant sequence in Super Star then exported and opened it into S3 and simply used copy and paste methods as described before by aurickle. As far as the visualizer I did get my arches to show up great. There is a place to download fixtures on the forum just dont remember were they are but a search will find them. I used jacks arch because I am making two arches out of one. Good Luck!
  5. Wow...thanks for the help. I think I got lucky and the timings were the same. I attatched the lms file to see if you think it is. Seems to play at the same time. I was able to select copy timings but would not let me past timing so i tried to copy all and paste it into the begining of the sequence and it seemed to work...I think. It is hard to tell without hooking up the ccrs and watching it all together. Now I need to learn about using the ccr tool in the visualizer to watch them there.

  7. Thank you for the info. I had used the superstar instant sequence and thoight about using that but i could not figure out to insert that file into my exhisting sequence. Do you know how to do so?
  8. Yea I haven't had any luck with these CCR's. I had one ribbion go bad and now the controller. They are replacing them both thank goodness. Now I am in the process of learning to program these things. Thanks for the reply I hope you are having good luck this year!
  9. I am having problems with one of my ccr controlers I just purchased about a month ago. The hardware utility will see it but will not control the ribbon (other controller works fine). I have swapped the controlers to test the ribbon and have updated to 1.7. It has only been used one other time for learning. Went to use them fo Halloween, but didn't work Any ideas? Send it back?
  10. I am new to using CCR's and I have two of them this year and want to make four arches. I found great information regarding the building and size of the arches but need help with the sequencing portion. I was told that it wouldn't be too hard to make the sequences using the S3 sequence editor instead of SuperStar. I have both programs and I am looking for a sample arch sequence or a direction to take. Should I be using SuperStar or the sequence editor?? I did figure out how to add the CCR's to the bottom of my sequence just not sure what channels to set to make a arch. Any help would be great!!
  11. My email is amt@woh.rr.com. Thank you so much for the help
  12. This is my first year using two ccr's. I am wanting to use them for four arches and need help getting started. Any ideas? Use SuperStar? Does anybody have any example arch sequences I can look at? Thanks!!
  13. Okay thanks, I ran into that earlier but cant seem to find it. Will keep looking
  14. Then answer the orginal question that the person asking. Sounds like you can provide some good advise and have more experiance with the type of wire to use. The original poster is wanting to use landscape light wire and I think it is more expensive and wouldnt be the right kind to use.
  15. I didn't mean to step on your toes.... I am kinda new with using the zip wire and have been told from others to use the thicker cable when placing wire in the open like that to prevent cracking of the cord ...thats all. It was a suggestion to the question posted.
