  1. Is there a reason LOR only sells the control board and does not have a completely built controller with this board for sale? I've seen a complete setup (to include spotlights, floodlights, etc with appropriate power supply) through creativelightingdisplays.com, but wondering why LOR doesn't just sell completed controllers like they do with their regular controllers.
  2. Blew my first fuse during Halloween this year. Bought 15 amp, 250 volt "microwave" fuses from Home Depot. So far, so good.
  3. Came across this the other day when looking for ways to spotlght my 3' tall white artifical trees... http://seasonalentertainmentllc.com/rainbowspotlight.htm ...and was immediately intrigued at the idea of choosing any color I wanted to use in that aspect of the display. I understand that it will take three channels to control each light and that the LOR software is capable of doing so. What I don't understand is exactly how do the RGB lights connect to the LOR controller. Can anyone help? I use the 1602 controllers. The spotlights will be purchased completely assemblied.
  4. The Courter Christmas display is in its fourth year! This definitely isn't a traditional Christmas song, but as one of my favorites I decided to code it to one anyway. I think the lyrics have a variety of meanings to which anyone can relate. . This display contains over 13,000 lights and is powered by 64 channels of Lightorama
  5. This display utilized 11,000 lights on 48 channels and contains eight minitrees, two seperate 7-channel arches, and a sixteen channel spiral tree. Vimeo videos: http://vimeo.com/34311788 Youtube videos: (Different videos at each site). Enjoy!
  6. The first of six songs in my display this year that I've finally found time to video. My display has 11,300 lights and powered by 48 channels.
  7. One 1602W Controller: Ordered: 11/12 Shipped: 11/28 Expected Arrival: 12/1 Woohoo! Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
  8. Just got my shipment note as well for an order on 11/12. Will also add that my order is for a 1602 commercial grade controller.
  9. Just watched your Angry Birds sequence. I love your display, choice of music, and sequencing.
  10. I do believe we have our first viral video of the season!
  11. I'm using the original Whole House Transmitter for the third year now. I live in the center of my block in a residential neighborhood, and pick up a crystal clear signal from one end of the block to the other, and pick up a static signal roughly 1/4 mile from my house. The street is only 20 yards from my house so I don't need a strong signal.

  13. Last couple of posts are showing quicker turnaround. However, my excitement will have to wait until after I see the 160x units that were ordered in November begin to ship.
  14. Might be a bit out of your way, but my display in Butler (60 miles south of Independence) will be up and running in its third year. I know of another display in the country outside of Harrisonville, and a massive display (projected 256 channels!) 30 miles south of me in Nevada, Missouri.
