  1. I'm going through every program- I found a few small errors (as always) but I can't find anything that indicates these two decorations have a way of going off together. Argh!! It would have to be me, as the old song goes. Thanks for your help.
  2. I'm hoping someone can help me because I am at my wits' end with this! I have all of my mini trees running off of duped controllers 7 & 8 and 9 & 10. I also have Coro trees 3-10 running off their own individual controller and channels, which work fine. The problem seems to be that Coro Trees 1 and 2, which are hooked into 4 different channels on controller 7, want to go off when 2 other channels for mini trees, on that same controller, turn on. There is nothing else occupying the Coro channel duplicate spots on controller 8 and the circuits test for the correct items on every individual item plugged into the controllers. I had left this issue since last year because I thought it might be some of the sequencing I did, but it is happening again, even with a different box occupying the controller 7 spot from last year and even after my digging through every sequence that contains the minis and rechecking that the channels were input correctly. If you can help me fix this, you are a genius... meanwhile, the people stopping for the show keep wondering why two strange trees keep lighting up in different configurations when they are way out of place!

  4. I replaced 12 with a new box and the issue was resolved. We can work on further refinements in the down season... lol Thanks!!
  5. No, that's not stupid at all- everything helps! I set the numbers originally. I am now resetting 13 to be sure it is numbered correctly- 12 shows up, 13 is where the chain dies.
  6. Thanks for the immediate response! Of course, I have no idea what the RJ45 jack is but I'm assuming it's where I'm plugging the cable into- lol I guess I'll have to change it out for my backup but I sure hate to lose an entire box for something so small.
  7. Sorry, didn't realize the caps were on for that post- mea culpa.
  8. MY CONTROLLERS ARE READY TO START PRODUCING MY SHOW, EXCEPT CONTROLLER 12 IS NOT SENDING A SIGNAL TO 13 OR 13 ISN'T RECEIVING IT. THE GREEN LIGHT IS STEADY ON ALL THE CONTROLLERS UP TO 13 AND THEN EVERYTHING AFTER THAT IS FLASHING AND DOESN'T SHOW UP IN THE HARDWARE UTILITY. I HAVE TRIED REPLACING THE CAT 5 CABLE FROM 12 TO 13 BUT THAT HAS MADE NO DIFFERENCE. WHAT DO I DO NOW? I'M RUNNING OUT OF TIME AND I HAVE A 22 CONTROLLER SHOW! PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!
  9. Okay- I guess I'll just have to live with the clutter! Thanks again.
  10. Wow, thank you so much for your fast response! The only other question I have is which ones I can eliminate from my folder, which is getting cluttered with these. It takes forever to scroll through the sequence files because these are listed as well; plus Microsoft won't open them! Any help to cut down all this extra stuff would be appreciated. :-)
  11. I have a ton of additional files that downloaded with my sequences. I know the bak file is for a back-up of the original sequence, although it will not open on my computer. Nor will the LSV or LCS files, which I am not familiar with either. What do these files stand for and how do I clean out my file folder from all this additional "debris"?
  12. Thanks Alan- I went ahead and ordered the old RS485D and the HS as well. SURELY, I can make it work with one of them! lol
  13. I am only on my second year of doing these shows and I managed to lose a lot of my smaller hardware this year... I was trying to remember which USB controller I had (I remember it was an enhanced version but that doesn’t help too much)! I now have 22 controllers going with mostly LED lights, as well as numerous sequences. I tried looking at comparison charts between everything but some say 500k and up, others 250k but “might” go higher, etc. and I really don’t know what any of this means. I am powering a display off my main desktop which covers about 200 ft in the front and two sides directions. Anyone that can answer this, I would be truly grateful. It’s time to start and I can’t even find the basics! :-(
