    CCR II RIbbon Arches Set-Up

Wow. Thank you, Alan! Your screen grab was perfect. Changing the starting location to opposing ends did the trick. You're the best! Dave

    CCR II RIbbon Arches Set-Up

Not yet. Right now I am just trying to figure out how to make a leaping arch effect in Preview.

    CCR II RIbbon Arches Set-Up

One ribbon (50) to make to two arches (25 in each). It's my understanding that cutting the ribbon voids the warranty.

    CCR II RIbbon Arches Set-Up

I am running one ribbon through two arches. I tried various scenarios including different unit numbers. But I still can't get it to sequence properly. I'm perplexed...

    CCR II RIbbon Arches Set-Up

I set up my prop definition with 25 nodes in each arch - # of Sections = 1. Arch #1 has circuits 1- 75 and Arch #2 has circuits 76-150; both have the same unit id. I would like to create a leaping arch effect so I created a group. But when I play the preview (S5), only Arch #1 turns on. What am I doing wrong? I have Arrangement setting set at Horizontal Stack Align Bottoms. Thank you.
  6. I would like to add two arches to our LOR display. I have the CCR -II ribbon that I plan to cut in half (I know...goodbye warranty) to make two arches. The controller is Pixe2. Question: Since I am cutting the string to make two arches, what values do I input in the Prop Definition window? Thank you in advance for your help.

    Cannot Change Unit ID

Well heck. I feel silly. Thanks for the help. Dave
  8. I have the 10W-Flood-Plug-n-Show package and want to add it to my existing LOR system. I have been trying to change the Unit ID (using Hardware Utility) but I keep getting a pop up window that says. "Cannot Change Unit ID. Unable to change unit ID. Please retry." The controller has a steady red light and the Hardware Utility shows "01 - CMB24D V 1.05" The flood controller is the ONLY controller connected to the PC when I attempt the unit ID change. The lights do turn on/off using Hardware Utility's test function. I have tried different cables and computers. Any suggestions? Thanks. Dave
  9. When I play a sequence I can see the effects in the Preview window. So what's the problem? I keep seeing effects playing even though the grid in that portion of the song has been cleared of all effects. I have tried the off button as well as sleeting a whole section and hitting the DEL key. Any clues why this is happening? Thank you. Dave

    Fade Down in PE

Is there an easy way to set the end value of a fade down? For example, I want to fade down from 100% to 50%. As a workaround, I have been making my fade twice as long and then clip the end half to get 50%. But when the desired end intensity is 30% or 40%, the length of the fade has been a trial-and-error type of ordeal. It would be nice if the tool had a way to set the start/end values. Any suggestions? Thank you! Dave

CCB: Second String is wrong color

UPDATE I got both strings to match color. Yay! I tried various different settings in both HU and the Prop Definition. I also changed the Units ID's for the CCB's. I assigned 03 and 06 to the two CCB controllers. I don't know if changing the Unit ID's made the difference but the important thing is the colors match - looking good, looking fine. Thanks to those who replied. Dave
  12. Hello everyone, I am brand new to the LOR world. I took advantage of the Summer Sale and picked up two CCB with controller sets and the Residential Series 16 Channel Starter Package with the Pro level software. I have set the Unit ID’s (1: CTB16PC; 2: CCB; 3: CCB) and, for now, I am just using one of the CCB’s to learn how use the Pixel Editor. I can create a sequence and even play the sequence. I plan to install the CCB strings across the front of our house (under the rain gutter). I know 4 strings will cover the span (String 2.1, Controller 2, String 2.2, String 3.1, Controller 3, String 3.2). Here’s my problem. The PE sequence has colorwash effects using just single colors. But when the color is RED, one string is red and the second string is blue. When colorwash is GREEN, one string is green and the second string is red. BLUE results in a blue string and a green string. White works fine – both strings are white. The PE Preview does show the correct colors so... What did I do wrong? Is it my RGB config? Or is it my Prop definition? Thank you in advance. Dave
  13. Greetings everyone, I am brand new to the LOR world. I took advantage of the Summer Sale and picked up two CCB with controller sets and the Residential Series 16 Channel Starter Package with the Pro level software. My first venture on this forum has to do with mounting the CCB controllers. I would like to install the CCB strings across the front of our house (under the rain gutter). I know 4 strings will cover the span. Based on the product photos, I would assume I have to mount the controllers behind the fascia board at two different locations (String 1.1, Controller 1, String 1.2, String 2.1, Controller 2, String 2.2). And then run extension cords to the controller boxes for power. Is this correct? Or are there other options? Speaking of extension cords, what gauge is recommended for the CCB controllers? (I previously bought a roll of the SPT-1 wire with plugs but I don't know if the wire can handle the load.) The strings will be attached to PVC pipe so the pipe can be used as a conduit for the power/data cords. After looking at the software, I hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew. Thank you in advance for your help. Dave
