  1. I removed the tee for the power injection. I hard wired the power injection and now everything is working. Not sure why the tee did not work but I will get with holiday Coro for that. Bad part is while doing so, my pixie controller will not respond now. I think one of the bare wires must have touched another. Like positive to data. Tried using the reset button during power up but it still is not responding to the computer. The red light is flashing like the network is not connected.
  2. Yes I had 12 volts at the output of the second controller. The first pixel turned on and stayed white. I have a tee from holiday Coro that contects the incoming ground and data from the controller, adds the positive and ground from the second ps and outputs all three to the lights.
  3. I have a pixie 8 controller approximately 40 feet from my front window which has approximately twenty pixels and then a ten foot extension and another twenty pixels around my door. When I rough wired the lights (twisting the bare wire together) I got the lights to work. I did not connect the power from the primary ps running the controller and use a second ps to power inject just before the window and door lights. The ground and data are connected to all. When I added the waterproof connectors the lights stopped working. Using an Ohmn meter I tested all of the connections. I have not found any issues with the wiring, Any help? Don't understand why it would work being rough wired and not now with the waterproof wiring in place. Was that a one time fluke? Thanks
  4. For power injections do I have to use the same power supply that is connected to the pixel controller? It would be easier to use another power supply since the injection is fifty feet away from the original power supply. Any reason why I should not use a separate power supply? Thanks and Happy Holidays

    PE help

Thanks Matt, Prior to reading your message I did something similar. I used Lines and made several strands that were one the same gutter or eve. Should I use the matrix instead? It worked well the first night, then last night about a third of the pixels (the first 15 and last 12 on each strand) started acting like a dumb RGB strand. I didn't change anything from the night before. Perhaps this is a bug in the Pixie controller?
  6. I have the new Pixie 8 running two hundred lights on my roof line. After initial set up they worked well, then last night the first fifteen or so and last ten or so of each strand started messing up. Instead of fading colors the group acted like one pixel. Anyone else having this problem?

    PE help

I have purchased the LOR software S4 Pro. A Pixie 8 controller and a normal CTB16PC controller. The Pixie is going to be used to run my roofline, 2 strings of 100 brilliant bulbs from Hoikday Coro. I am trying to set up my props in the pixel editor and not quite sure how to show the roofline on a 2D grid. I am confused on how to accurately diagram the roofline as some parts are the same elevation from the ground (around my garage) and other parts increase in elevation upto the peak of the roof (sides of the house). Should I use the Visulizer first or just the pixel editor props? Should I use the custom tab in the pixel editor prop menu? I am using the 16 controller of a small tree with Led AC powered lights. Can I control this prop in the pixel editor too? How do I activate the enhanced LOR network? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
