    Creating a Non-RGB prop

Ok, I was able to create the prop. How do I add that prop to an existing sequence's preview? I can see my pixels. I see the props added to the preview when I add it. I even see them listed in sequence. I don't see them lighting up in the preview. I'm sure I'm missing something here. Thanks again for the help. Paul

    Creating a Non-RGB prop

Yep, that's what I'm trying to do. I'll give it a try. Then, I should be able to import it as a prop with my pixels, right?
  3. I just downloaded S5. I'm trying to figure out how to create a non-RGB prop and have it play in the preview pane. I have some Christmas Done Bright pieces that I incorporate into my show. I selected lines closed shape and select 3 lines so I can create a triangle. I set the prop to correct unit and channel ID off of the 16 channel controller. When I start up the sequence, my pixels work but not the non-RGB prop. I just need a little guidance on what I'm doing wrong. Is there a forum for S5 issues only? I can't find one. Thanks. CCBs pulsing during effects

Lately, I've been observing a set of CCBs that seem to be pulsing. I notice the pulsing when I run a Butterfly effect or a linevertical effect. I'm going to reset the controllers today to see if this makes any difference. Does anyone have any other thoughts on this? Thanks. Paul

Half of CCB string is out during show only

I did. I ended up swapping out the string and the new one works fine.

  8. I 've run into an issue with a string of 50 CCBs. I noticed that about half of the string was out while a show was playing. I tested the unit with the HU utility today and all of the lights are on and respond to the HU. I reset the controller just to be sure to clear things. Tonight, I have the show running and the string has about half of the lights out. Does anyone have an idea on this one? Is this the controller or string? I haven't replaced the string yet. I was going to do that in the morning. What do you think? Thanks for the help. Paul
  9. One last question. I'm assuming that I put that animation sequence as a Shutdown sequence, correct?
  10. Got it. Thanks guys. I'll add a short animation at the end of the break show. Makes sense. I'll also look at MIIP. Thanks for the help. Paul
  11. Is there a way to get the scheduler to do a hard cutover to a show that I have scheduled at the top and bottom of the hour. I have break sequences that are running past the top and bottom of the hours. I want to start my shows at this time. I appreciate the help. Paul

    Possible Ell trouble

Drop down to 56k. I have my ELLs with line of sight of each other. You don't have to do that but it may help. Also, I use a ISO adapter from my PC for the ELL. Hope this helps. Paul

    CTB04-PC-ELL issue

Figured it out. I was copying sequence data from an old file and it was truncating the overall time of the sequence. That was frustrating but at least it's fixed. Paul

    CTB04-PC-ELL issue

Figured it out. I was copying the old sequence data into the new file. It was truncating the length of the sequence. For some reason, all of the other lights stayed on. The CTB04 was actually doing what it was supposed to do. This is what happens. I've learned my lesson. Thanks. Paul

    CTB04-PC-ELL issue

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct forum or not. I'm having an issue with the CTB04-PC-ELL unit I installed this year. It powers four pieces remotely in my front yard. On one sequence which I use between shows, I run all the lights on. The CTB04 will run for the first 1-3 minutes and then it shuts off. It won't come back on until the next sequence plays. I've done all of the basics, connections are good, dropped baud rate to 57.6k from 115k. Current ELLs are up to date firmware wise. I've rebuilt the sequence from scratch. I've run tests on just those channels with the same result. Network speeds are confirmed to match. I did have hardware error checking enabled which I've now switched to Xon/Xoff. Does anyone have any other thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help. Paul
