  1. 3 - CCP-100D (V3) Cosmic Color Pixel controllers with 2 strings of 50 bulbs (for each controller). These plug right in sequence just like the 16 ch controllers. $135 each ($219 new) Purchased these 2 years ago and they were used only once. Light-O-Rama had a chip issue with these new units. All were returned and serviced by them at their cost. Worked great the one time i used them. SPECIAL - buy all 3 for $400 and I will include a complete 4th set (controller and 2 strings of bulbs). This 4th set was bought as a backup and I never sent it to LOR for repair. You will have to do this. SOLD - 3 - CTB16PCg3 16 channel controllers. $160 each. ($259 new) SPECIAL - buy all 3 for $425 and i will pay shipping and throw in my FM transmitter. I'm not able to run my show anymore so selling my equipment. All my stuff was only used every other year as my kids would visit in-laws. Everything is stored indoors and has never seen snow. The insides of the controllers are immaculate and the outsides only have a few scratches and perhaps some tape residue. I can send pic's of equipment if you like. Email me at Psjoe36@gmail.com. (my computer was in the shop so I posted under a different name, but this is my regular account)

  4. Yes I do. Most were interested in the 16 channel boxes.

  6. Scrolling Sign

Any thoughts on how the TV would be controlled? Some way of timing it to your music? Or is it just running a loop?
  7. As I go out to mow the front yard...

I might try the tip on the safety plug ends, never thought of it. I've been taping for years and have never had a prob with my GFI's unless like this year one x-cord was actually laying in a puddle under one of my tarps. But I did noticed I missed more than a couple this year - no tape - and nothing popped. Didn't miss one night due to rain, everything lit no matter the weather. Would save a lot of time on putting up and taking down. Wanted to start taking stuff down a couple days ago but have had a nasty cold. Now behind on everything, oh well. Got a lot done this am till it started raining. South Fl. Another partial day to get stuff down, all in the driveway. Then one partial day to box it and put in shed. My Xmas only shed, will seal it up for the year. I'm not good at organizing on take down. Sort of separate it but more interested in getting it done! Part of next xmas is opening the stuff early and doing maintenance.
  8. As I go out to mow the front yard...

Why are you worried about the grass covering your cables? I pretty much count on it here in Florida. Covers all my CAT 5's and extension cords. As long as all the connections are taped up and I usually put my controllers in plastic bags to keep rain out. After clean up and mowing I have a lot of brown spots from where decorations were. No worries there as most of the grass will be brown by the end of Jan anyway. No permanent damage so far.
  9. I have only seen the first two, was the community one and the solo one. Thought the California guy was one of us, from a different thread. They didn't show much of his dancing lights at all but I don't see how he didn't win. Had all three categories nailed and that place was just amazing. Even after 30 years I couldn't see myself even attempting something like that. Yes there is a lot of space for simple old fashioned decorations, to each his won. But by the show rules they listed he should have won. Total gyp IMO
  10. CTB16PCg3 AMP load and damage

Watching my 14' mega tree going up in flames might be pretty cool. Safe enough spot not to hurt anything else. Course with my luck I would miss it! Kidding aside, that's why I put in a 5 AMP fuse. Had to pull the trigger at some point and things working OK. The best part of this "hobby" is coming up with new ideas and trying them out. I'm happy with the misting effect "snow" not happy with the lighting. For it to really work I need some spots under it but no channels left to use. Lesson learned for next year! Now thinking living fountain, water cannons or something like that.
  11. I run a business that holds some contests during the year. We enter a couple different ones also. I have learned it is almost always a popularity contest. You need to get friends and family to vote. Used to bug me but got used to it over the years so just play the game...
  12. Newbies be very very careful

  13. Cosmic color bulbs

  14. CTB16PCg3 AMP load and damage

Thanks for the tip. Problem was no store had one! Lowes, HD or ACE Spent $4 in parts and put in a 5 AMP fuse on the line. Tested out OK
