  1. Forgot this one. Not that its much different than the other two but hey.. LOL
  2. Zach, this is probably a long shot but do you use multiple monitors by chance? I have found that if I leave a screen on a 2nd monitor and close the program, if I re-open just on one monitor, the window still thinks there is a 2nd one. So you see it pull up to nothing but if I plug in a monitor, it will be there. It's a long shot I know.
  3. I finally got around to doing the daytime walkthrough.
  4. Well, I think I'm pretty happy with how this worked out. I had it in my head how I wanted it to look way back in February and everything came together. This was my first attempt using LOR and I loved it! Besides doing all the light show stuff, I also built all the props you see. Not a store bought prop in the bunch :)Hope you enjoy! Here are a couple of the songs I sequenced...
  5. So I take it the computer needs to be connected to the controllers to run through a show?
  6. Thanks Don! I was about 2 seconds from re-installing. It was in the program directory. No idea why it wasn't available but thank you!
  7. No "light bulb" in my system tray, not even if I show all hidden icons. Under Start/All Programs/LOR there is NO LOR Control Panel? Thoughts?
  8. I want to use a video file for each sequence but I would like to make the window default to full screen on a second monitor as part of my display. Is there a way to do that without having to drag it over to the second monitor and maximize the screen for each sequence?

    More Power?

Thanks Orville. I didn't know if there would be some sort of in-rush or something. I bought 28 of those 3w LED spotlight bulbs with the E17 base. They are pretty darn bright so I'm curious how much current they will pull. So my last questions is do you test on each individual channel or do you put it inline with the controller (assuming you plug both plugs into a power strip)

    More Power?

Cool, I see there are several on eBay & Amazon so I will pick one up. So when you test, do you test when the lights are at 100% on or do certain effects draw more current? Like would flashing cause more current to be pulled then a steady on?

    More Power?

Alright, how about this bad boy? http://www.degreedays.net/kill-a-watt-meter
  12. So I got my bulb and it works great. Extremely bright. I turned around and ordered another 2 dozen of different colors. Pretty fast shipment too. I ordered on the 4th and got it on the 13th so a little over a week.

    More Power?

    Something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-65A-110V-60Hz-Single-Phase-Reset-To-Zero-DIN-rail-Kilowatt-LED-Hour-kwh-Meter-/360727985813?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53fd103e95
  14. I HAVE FIGURED IT OUT!!!! Once I started thinking about how it wants me to do something on a screen that's not there it dawned on me. This was on my laptop. The previous time I was working on the sequence I had it hooked to a second monitor. So I hooked it back to the monitor and sure enough, there is the sequence editor window sitting there. Dragged it back over to the laptop screen, unhooked the monitor and all is well! Two things that I don't understand is (1) why when I unplugged the monitor the last time, why did it not pull that window over to the laptop screen and (2) how was I able to open the sequence editor two days later and work on the sequence without having to go throw the start up window (open new/existing sequence) Oh well, glad I figured it out. I was FREAKING OUT MAN!
  15. Nada. I've shut down completely, restarted and get the same thing. This is what happens: Start up the computer Open Sequence Editor It goes immediately to the editor screen above (minus the error) and I never get the start up window. Nothing is clickable, can't even minimize or close. Program is frozen and the only way to get out is to end program from task manager. If the program is open and I go try to open a sequence, I get the error message above. Now, if I don't open the sequence editor, and I just open a saved sequence, it opens fine. However, as soon as I try to click New/Open/Close/Save, it freezes up again. It's like it wants me to do something on a new window but it's not there, not in my task bar, nor shows up in the task manager. The only thing I have done differently was I added a 33rd channel because I was messing the the beat wizzard. Could that have anything to do with it?
  16. Need some help here. When I attempt to open the sequence editor it immediately freezes up and eventually I get this message. I can not do anything once I open the sequencer, I can not minimize, close nothing. I have to do a cntl+alt+delete to get out of it. Now if I go to my file folder with all my sequences, I can open those up just fine. BUT if I click on the New icon, it freezes up again and get this same message. Is there a remedy?

    More Power?

That's good to know. I will look into all I have and add it up. I have to think I will be well within limits. The 25 spotlights are 110v 3w LED bulbs, using 1 per channel. I will have two sets of 4 LED flood lights on two other channels and the rest are the 9 LED flood lights. Assuming I am within the limits of amps being pulled, can I plug the two controllers into a single power strip thats plugged into an outlet? I really appreciate everyones input and didn't mean to highjack godman's thread.

    More Power?

So what can you get away with on just a standard house outlet without a dedicated circuit? If I am running 25 110v LED flood lights plus 7 random other lights would I be ok or do I run the risk of popping breakers?
  19. I did end up ordering one yesterday to try out. I have the same controller so I'll post back how it works. I can't foresee any problems outside of either it works or doesn't work?
  20. Thanks Orville, I have not had much luck either. I did run across these on eBay which are avialible in E17 base so they would work in my floods that I have now. I think I will order one to try it out and if it works, bite the bullet and buy the rest. Anyone else ever try these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dimmable-LED-Spotlights-bulb-3W-5W-Warm-White-Red-Green-Blue-Yellow-E27-GU10/171174641243?rt=nc
  21. I need some help/opinion on floodlights or spotlights. First let me give you a set up as to what I am trying to do: For Halloween I am doing a grave yard. Five rows of five tombstones. Each tombstone will have it's own floodlight connected to a single channel. I made my own lights by taking these cheap solar floods from Big Lots, gutting them and mounted a C9 vampire socket and used a C9 LED replacement bulb. Now each flood light will be right in front of the tombstones and they do illuminate them ok. I am wondering if there is another type of LED bulb that will have an intermediate base (that will fit into my C9 sockets) and that's dimmable that will be a little more brighter. They wouldn't need to be colored as I can just put a gel over the lens. ~OR~ Is there any floodlights/spotlights out there that are 110v that work well and are relatively cheap? I need 25 of them so I'd like to stay in the $10 range if possible. Thanks in advance everyone!
  22. I had these beauties waiting for me when I got to work yesterday. Time for some fun! Oh and thanks to Mary. I had forgotten to order the starter kit at the sale and she was able to get it added to my order with no problems. Thanks Mary!
