  1. I just didnt like S5, i prefered having the older style visualizer,, easier to design props. I went back to S4.3
  2. I didnt see where you wrote strip, my bad. I have no experience with those. I got several rolls of rgb but have no done an actual measurement on them yet, and wont until i get a new amp meter. Hey heres a fun fact, dont leave you volt and amp meter outside when it rains.
  3. Not sure what pixles you are using that are 6 amps with only 60 pixels int he string. I recently just tested 15 new strings,, 100 pixels each, my max draw on all white at 100% was just over 5 amps. And that included the controller. My dumb nodes were just under 6 amps at 100% for a string of 100.
  4. I have found that as well, however, better safe then sorry. But i am like many, i run my stuff at around 70% so i try and figure that in as well.
  5. I have always used a simple equation that was taught to me when i got into Pixels. Each pixel at .06 amps. Easiest is 60 X x amount of pixels / by 1000. IE 60 x 50 / 1000 = 3
  6. SO they are trying to compete with the Falcon?
  7. Shouldn't have to bug you guys for something that should be a simple fix. But lately it sure seems like people in these forums are less and less helpful. Last thread 8 started about a cuz file went completely ignored, has to find help on a completely different website.
  8. I was using an existing viz file. I just open the sup up in SS. The sequence I opened in S5 is an existing lms file.
  9. I just upgraded my license, now have 5.x.x, when i open my matrix sequence, 24x50, it is all messed up. Characters are upside down, animations seems to be off my many pixels. When i import the SUP file into SS, everything is fine.
  10. Just wondering, i have not even really started on my shows for this year. Now that im walking i have been trying to get things down around the house.
  11. Wondering if you ever got around to this or has it been tabled for now? Not a priority in my book.
  12. Is there a way for me to use an xlights model to create a prop? I tried asking in the visualizer forum but got no responce.
  13. I just heard it myself. Though it would be a good one
  14. This must he a new song if Jr ain't sequenced it.
  15. Might be a good sing for Halloween
  16. Ok, so if I get the 24CCR license, according to Brian, if I stick with 4.2.x, I will need a maintainance license to use the auto sequencer.
  17. I have 4.2.x with 4ccr, I plan to upgrade to a 16 or 24 car, I want to use the new auto sequence feature in SS. At my current basic level I can not. What upgrade do I need?
  18. All he led strings i have shortened have worked great. I just use an online calculator to determine what size Resistor i would need, kept the first light and the last light, cut pout how many lights i needed to get rid of, soldered in the resistor before the first plug and they worked great on my singing faces. Until the storm destroyed one of my monsters.
  19. Thank you. I am still at that stage where all i can do is solder up boards. Wanna get my new 3D printer built so i can play with it, yes i said play, its a new toy, gotta playwith it.
  20. Been awhile. Still recovering, some good days, some bad. Hopefully start walking normal again in a month or so. Biggest issue I am having is memory issues from the trauma, had no head injuries, but the trauma has caused mental issues. I had sequences I was working on before the accident that I cant finish because I can not remember where I stored them. I know they are on a flash drive, but cant find them. Dont remember alot of stuff from the accident either. I know a couple fine folks sent my kids Christmas presents. Was very nice to see so many people help out. Thank you all.
  21. Packing peanuts need to be banned just for the mess they make
  22. PT guys says I am progressing well. Out of the chair and walking with a cane. I figure another month and wont need to cane anymore. Thank you.
