  1. I use Oracle's VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/) on my iMac 5K. It allows me to have pc windows open at the same time as I have Mac windows open. It uses shared storage resources so I can move files back and forth between windows apps and Mac apps while working. Ultimately, I run the show form a Raspberry Pi running Falcon Christmas Player (http://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php/board,8.0.html). So, develop and test on the iMac with VirtualBox (running XP by the way) and play on the Raspberry Pi. For your consideration........Burt

  5. Mr. Johnson, Thanks for sharing and thanks for all your great videos and walkthroughs. You do good work. Much appreciated..........Burt
  6. Indi, I can relate. I don't have a bucket list. I have a "honey do list."
  7. Yeah, I saw that too. Sad in some way but it's true that this hobby can be all too consuming. Sometimes you need to just take a break and regroup. I'm hopeful he'll be back with new stuff. I haven't done much because I'm still working. Oh well, retirement isn't too far away............
  8. I don't remember seeing him on the LOR forum. You might reach out to him on his facebook page. You can link to it from his web site. http://www.lightinguppaxton.com/
  9. Here is a link to another version of this. Look at the roof line and you will see that there is a line of what looks like C9s and directly below them are icicle lights. It appears to be a simple 2 channel chase. I admit I haven't done this but it appears to be relatively simple. Study the video to look at the roof line.
  10. Thanks. That's good information. I will look deeper.
  11. Where in SC? From Ron Boyd......"a mini I'm supposed to talk at in August...."
  12. It's on the Light-O-Rama web page under "Support" "Documentation" near the bottom of the list labeled "DMX." The User Guide PDF.
