  1. Everything is packed up and in storage. However; if it helps, pictures and videos can be seen on my Facebook page. Search "Hudson Falls Lights" on Facebook to view.
  2. 1 LOR residential controller, Holiday Coro 16 string Smart Pixel mega tree kit assembled onto 1/2" EMT with controller...this kit alone unassembled retails for $1000. Lots of top-line C5 LED strings (red, green ,blue, white individual strands) - all full wave rectified and purchased from quality vendors. LED icicle strings (blue/white), too. Spiral trees, jumbo wreath, piles of extension cords and splitters, and lots more. No shipping - must pick up. Not interested in selling off individual pieces at this time. First $1000 takes all.
  3. Relocating and don't want to haul everything with us. 1 LOR residential controller, Holiday Coro 16 string Smart Pixel mega tree kit pre-assembled onto 1/2" EMT. Lots of top-line C5 LED strings (red, green, blue, white individual strands) - all full wave rectified and purchased from quality vendors such as HLE. LED icicle strings (blue/white), too. Spiral trees, jumbo wreath, piles of extension cords and splitters, and lots more. See pics on my facebook page - Hudson Falls Lights. One money takes all - $1500 ask. No shipping - must pick up. Not interested in selling off individual pieces at this time.
  4. If you have at least one that has retained it's shape to use as a template, you can warm the others one or two at a time in the oven (150^ or less) to make them pliable and zip tie them to the know good one upon removal. Shouldn't take too long and you'll be back in business.
  5. I searched high and low for a legal outlet to purchase the music for this a year or so ago and even reached our here on the forums for help in my quest. I don't recall who helped me out, but I was eventually able to secure the intro audio which is all I was after in the first place. It's a timeless piece on it's own and is fantastic when paired with yet another piece of stellar work by the crew at HolidaySequences.com. I'm going to take a breather from putting on a show for 2016 but may need to reach out to them for a 16 CCR version of the intro in the meantime to be ready for 2017. Love it!
  6. Larryk5, is your show still up and running through New Year's? Dad winters in Lake Suzy and is looking for shows in the area.
  7. I just completed my second season with the HC 16 string smart ribbon and Pixlite 16 controller package with zero problems. I, too, was a little worried about the DIY side of things, so I opted to buy the fully assembled kit and paid right around the $1000 mark. Haven't needed any HC support or warranty so cannot speak to that. I did have some trouble with the Pixlite controller, but it was entirely of my own doing (things just don't work when you plug into the wrong jack on the board...Duh!) and their support (and good humor) were fantastic. With a comparable setup using LOR equipment coming in at nearly $4000, the LOR stuff is well beyond the "saving a few dollars" that DevMike alludes to. LOR's customer service is world-class as always and were it just double the price of the HC stuff, I'd own the LOR. But at 4X, you'll just have to decide for yourself where the value lies.
  8. Step away when the hobby becomes more like work than fun. 2015 beat the snot out of me with hardware and software gremlins right up until the start of the show season. Pretty sure I'm going to take 2016 off and catch a breather.
  9. Taken down, packed up, put away. A new personal best thanks to my helpers...11am on Dec 26. 2 years in a row now that we have had enough mild weather here in the Northeast to allow such happenings. Rain coming tomorrow and 5-8 inches of the white stuff due on Tuesday. Today's efforts sure beats the dickens out of chipping through ice and snow in early January or waiting until the spring thaw to recover the last of the extension cords.
  10. Not to hijack the thread, but if you want to read some of the funniest reviews ever on a product, see: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EVOSE4?keywords=haribo%20sugar%20free%20gummi%20bears&qid=1450647795&ref_=sr_1_1&s=grocery&sr=1-1 Some of them brought tears to my eyes!
  11. My stepfather has become a snowbird for the first time after my mother recently passed. He is spending this and future Christmases wintering in the Port Charlotte area (Lake Suzy to be more specific). He has always enjoyed my display and has always been there to help with setup. In talking the other day, he mentioned the lights and I told him I'd try to find some displays in his area for him to visit. I know I have seen at least one member on here with a Port Charlotte address. Any help?
  12. In my mind, I'm putting on a Christmas event so last show is Christmas night. Unseasonably mild weather is expected to continue here in the Northeast for the next week or so. Gotta take advantage of the opportunities that Mother Nature gives us. I'll be packed away by the by the end of the day on the 26th or 27th at the latest.

    LED light failure

Let me guess...it's a string of GREEN lights?
  14. FYI - it's Molon Labe (meaning "Come and get them!"). And I don't think registering a toy whirlybird is on par with asking anyone to lay down their arms. I'm guessing you probably register your cars as required without such defiance. I bet you file you taxes faithfully every year, too.
