  1. This is for 16 Pixel has LMS but the count down is for pixel there are 25 different ones they use the same MP3 1 for each day in December
  2. This is my first year decorating the house. I built the tree last year and decided to match the house with it this year. Hope you enjoy!
  3. Keeping a single preview and updating it each year is the easiest way to manage your PE previews and sequences. An alternate way that is more work is to copy your 2017 preview to a 2018 preview and make all modifications for next year in the 2018 version (use Tools > Manage Previews, "copy" button). Then make copies of all of your 2017 sequences to 2018 versions, and when opening the 2018 version assign it to the 2018 preview. The advantage of this approach is that you can always play back your prior years' sequences exactly as they were. Matt
  4. That may be the case for you, or how you feel, but I assure you it's not a bunch of BS to me. I do this because I love Christmas and Christmas lights. Always have since I was a little kid. Does it feel good to have my neighbors thank me and tell me how much they enjoy it. Absolutely, but I do it as my gift to them. I deliberately don't advertise my show with the local media or on social media because I don't want all of the hassle that comes with it. If people find it an enjoy it, great. If not, that's fine too. I enjoy it. So Bah Humbug to you Mr. Grinch Dcroc. You can express your opinions but please don't think that you know my motivations for what and why I do what I do.
  5. We had approx. 25,000 people last night- it was incredible! The local Sheriffs office helicopter crew posted this on our Facebook page- check it out- its amazing!
  6. Dug up this old thread I recall posting in. Today I have decided to retire my last incan prop and its two AC controllers. Some how I feel kinda sad about it because it was still working and just would not go quietly in the night to incan heaven. Now my show is finally all led. Still 12 ac controllers with LED strands and the rest pixels.
  7. I have commented on this type of post in the past, but will revisit now that I have been doing it a few years. This is the most bs statement I have ever heard. Everyone on the Great Light Fight spews the same line. Fact is, I do this for ME. I am a show off. I need attention, and I need to be someone. I do this to show off what I can do, and that I am better than average (everybody else). It is great that people enjoy it, and it is really cool that kids love it, but most importantly....they love ME. They know who I am. They talk about me. I am the star. The news cameras show up to film the house and talk about ME. I look in the camera so that everyone knows the one that did this was ME. And when they ask why I do it, I respond with an earnest look on my face "I do it just to see the joy in the neighborhood kids eyes".
  8. I love the lights "falling away" on the arches near the beginning. Very cool. Might have to steal that idea....
  9. I'm happy to report that Opening night went perfect! I love it when a plan comes together.
  10. I moved a few things around and finished setting up the last part of our display (the Nativity Scene) at 4:15 today. I barely made my 5:00 pm light-up time for Thanksgiving Night, but despite the uncooperative weather, I did it! I'll make some changes next year, but overall I'm satisfied with my 1st LOR setup and everything seems to be working as expected. Big thanks to LOR help desk and all of you who helped me out over the last few months. I couldn't have done it without you!
