  2. Would it be possible to add a way to change the look of the collapsed channel level prop to a different color (besides grey) or something (maybe change the words from black to red) if it contains a motion row effect? Just something to quickly identify if a prop has a motion row and it's collapsed.

  4. Having a spare USB to RS-485 adapter is one of the most important spare items to keep in stock. If that fails during show season, your entire show goes dark... And having a spare is very handy for testing as you mentioned. My three in service adapters are not overly handy to pull out for testing either - and besides are used year round for my landscaping show. Highly recommend that any adapter you buy is a high speed (red) adapter. Even if you don't need it now, as you expand, you eventually will.
  5. I think all you'd need to do is perhaps name them Button1.lms, Button2.lms, Button3.lms to denote which button goes to the sequence. However, the buttons would actually be "Show #2, Show #3 and Show #4. With Show #1 being your main show that the triggers would interrupt{stop} and play that particular show #. Whereas Show 2 would be button #1, Show 3 button #2 and show 4 button #3. But the sequences themselves could be named Button1.lms {Show 2}, Button2.lms{Show 3} and Button3.lms{Show 4}. Again, any button would also interrupt and stop the main show{Show #1} and only play that particular buttons sequence. So if this is what you are wanting to do, this would be the way to do it. But if you want the main show {Show #1} to continue when a trigger is pressed, I don't think this is possible. Unless, and I haven't used a Director in years now, but if there is a way to make the triggers work as a BACKGROUND sequence that would play at the same time the main show {Show #1} is operating, then you'd place the Button#.lms files in the Background tab and have each one set to play in the background, and each one would play when the appropriate button was pressed. Again, I'm not sure if the Directors are capable of running background sequences at the same time as the main show files. If so, then this is how you would accomplish that and keep the main show operating. BTW: The Mini Director info can be found here: http://www1.lightorama.com/PDF/mDM-MP3_Man_Web.pdf But it looks like it only allows a single triggered input from what I've read through it. But that info could be outdated and the newer Directors may be more capable of additional triggers, as well as using background sequences. But I just can't say since the one director I had was an older original version. Good Luck.
  6. Yes, that is basically what I want but did not think about adding several groups of the same prop with different arrangements. What I would like to see is a drop down menu on the prop in the sequencing grid and from that menu I could just select which arrangement I want rather than building several different groups. But your way will do exactly what I need to do.
  7. I’m looking for an LOR usb to 485 adapter. My main one is very difficult to access and I’d like to have a spare for testing when things go wrong or to have with a separate laptop. Anyone have one hanging around not being used you can part with?
  8. Eric, I don't quite understand what you are asking for. I made a video of how I deal with different prop arrangements within the Preview. Not sure if this is what you are asking about or if it will help you, but take a look and see how I deal with it. Hope this helps, Alan...
  9. Orville, that is actually they way I want it to work for my application. If that is true, Great! Still unsure about how to program the sequences / name them so the buttons pressed select to one desired. in other words, how do I keep them sorted out so the director can determine which is which when I save them to the SD Card.?
  10. Ahhh... yes it does. Those motion effect rows will take some getting used to I see. Thanks for the quick reply back and I will remember this going forward. Fastest bug fix ever! 👍
  11. The collapsed circle that you copied from includes a motion effect row. Matt
  12. @MattBrown Using v5.4.0 If you select a channel level prop that is collapsed to where you only see the 1 row and select it all and copy... then paste it on another prop that has the channel level expanded, it will not paste to node 1. It will start on node 2. Example... I copied my circle which is 50 nodes(channel level was collapsed) to the tree outline prop (channel level was expanded) to node 1. It should have pasted nodes 1 thru 50. Instead it did nodes 2 to 51. I can reproduce this time and time again. https://youtu.be/i65xUFemlTg At least it works for the most part, but it's still not correct compared to S4. You cannot paste it to the node just above because it will wipe out that row if you have it sequenced. Again for it to work perfectly, you MUST EXPAND both channel level props and then copy and paste.

  14. Hello. Is a copy of this still available? Thanks If so, hunterkelly73@aol.com
  15. The lights wont show up until you play a sequence which uses your Preview. The preview is now how you do all the controller and channel config. Have you set your controller IDs and channel settings in your preview.
  16. That does bring the background up but without the lighting I put in. When I had the older version, not sure if it was S3 Or S4 but was able to program the lights on the background and it showed with the lighting on it.
  17. I would like a copy sent to cswisher@kmwperformance.com I agree to not sell or share this sequence with anyone. This request will be used for my private, personal use on my show only. I also understand the mere fact of making changes to the borrowed sequence and pasting it in to my sequence does not make it mine to share Thanks in advance!
  18. Try Reset Window Layout in the Window menu.
  19. I do not find visibility on the toolbar. It shows 3 toolbars but non of them have visibility alone. I does show Waveform Visibility
  20. @mharr77 On the toolbar, under visibility, click the filmstrip icon. This open's the preview screen. If you double click the top of the preview screen it, it will snap it into the the top area above the programming grid. Double click it again and it opens back up in a separate window.
  21. I have a standard license and have upgraded to the S5 software. I must not have triggered something because I have designed the preview of my house and inserted the lights but cannot seem to get it to come up with the lighting above the programming grid. What have I not done that is keeping it from showing so I can see how the lights on the house will look as I program it? Thank you Michael Harrington mharr77@gmail.com
  22. Hi James could I please have a copy of this song. Thank YOU "I would like a copy sent to insert email address wnkrwnkr@gmail .com "I agree to not sell or share this sequence with anyone. 23. I never found the time to do it. As well, anything I do fails in comparison to James and others work on here.
  24. Pixel multiplier is only in the Autoflip program.
  25. Hey @dougd What is the pixel multiplier option? I am about get back to sequencing and I am curious about all the pixel tools in S5. Thanks, Greg
  26. I use the pixel multiplier options the most. Works great when you change props from one year to the next, no need to re-sequence.
  27. This is so exciting to hear. Thanks Matt for adding this feature to S5! AutoFlip will remain available for S4 users. AutoFlip also provides pixel multiplier functions for those who might need them.
