BMurray
Huh? Is this an AC controller? If so it has 2 electrical plugs. One for each bank of 8 channels. If it's any one of several E1. 31 controllers it has 1 electrical plug or maybe 2 depending on the power supplies that are connected.
sonoma
If this is an a/c controller be aware of your amp load. 8 amps per channel, I belive. Also the 6 strip outlets are designed for indoor use only, and must be protected. I found this out the hard way last year on my mega tree.
Orville
You can do it, but it's not advisable unless the strip is very well protected for outdoor use. If using indoors, not so much an issue, but why would you want to use a 6 outlet on 1 channel like that or on multiple channels? Unless your light strands don't have end to end connections and you want multiple strands on one channel, then I use the green outdoor triple tap extension cords for things like that and try to at least plug 2 strands into each tap on the green ext. cord.
