Lor CCP on dmx network

OK I have a 24 strand CCP pixel tree that I want to run on my dmx network. However I am having a hard time finding extended info on channel setup. I have my setup for the CCP pixel tree as universe 22-33 300 channels each all running off a E682. My question is what type of formula do I use to get the unit id? I know with the 16 channel unit id1 is channel 1-16 next unit id is 2 is channel 17-32 and so on. My CCP tree is starting on channel 10801 and I am lost as to what unit id to start with.

Its a pixel tree made from 24 strands of CCP. 12 controllers with 2 strands each. I will be using the E682 as a e1.31 dmx bridge. If you look at the last page of the E682 manual it talks about how to connect it as a dmx output device.

Dennis I want to do that so I don't have to use so many networks. If I had the correct power supplies I wouldn't use the lor controllers.

Emmien I know that dmx doesn't have unit IDs but the lor controllers do. I need to match the unit IDs of the lor controllers to start at dmx channel 10801.

It looks like all you have to do is connect first controller with a crossover cable to the DMX output but the manual says each one needs to be on its own universe so you would need 12 universes but you only have 4? dmx outputs on the E682

The E682 has 16 outputs. I have that setup. I will give it a run with the CCP controllers using the same unit IDs as last year. I just had a thought that each controller is on its own port so I am going to try setting them all at unit 1. I will post my findings when I get done testing.

Looks like you have to put some jumpers on the e682 board to use the 16 ports for DMX. I have never tried that good luck

Yes Dennis I will use balanced output so I get a data+ and a data -. Now that all this is coming together I am getting excited.

Just get rid of the CCP controllers, set the 682 to run WS2801 and run them like regular pixels. It's what I'm doing.
