I plan to get a flag from Holiday Coro for my first 4th of July endeavor hopefully this year.

I do a 4th of July show every year, for about 6 years now.

I built a flag back then out of a 4x8 foot PVC sheet and used c7 lights.  I replaced all the lights about 2 years ago.  I'm thinking about upgrading it to RGB this year (or next).

I also build a digital RGB firework last year, It's over 8 feet round (900 pixels)

Pictures of it are on my photo gallery: http://lightshow.franktronics.net/index.php/photo-gallery/

sample video of one song from last years show: http://lightshow.franktronics.net/index.php/videos/

Maybe these will give you some ideas.

I run my landscape lighting RWB for the 4th.  Of all the irony, I never get to see it - I shoot a professional fireworks show and don't get home until well after the RWB lights are over.

I usually run my show for the weekend, at least.

This year I'll run it from the 1st to the 5th.

I run a 4th show each year.  The main part of the display is 3 of the Holiday Coro Flags ( one of the Large and two of the smaller ones), along with archs, etc. I run mine for a week before the 4th.

I'm not sure I should ask - it looks like a trap ...

But couldn't you simply adjust your lights' schedule so they're still lit when you roll in that night?

I could.  Normally I run an evening show and a overnight show.  The overnight is just a few lights and completely static.  The evening show lights up the whole yard and is what gets the colors - both for "normal" evenings and for specific holidays.  The evening show runs until 2200 during the week and 2300 on the weekends.  I don't get home until long after that on the morning of the 5th.  Calendar schedule shows don't cross midnight I have found so I would have to do it as two shows but then it looks goofy at the transition because of shutdown and startups.  Maybe I'll just run the RWB lights for the 3rd and 4th.  Historically the minor holidays have only been run for one night.

Did my first 16 channel xmas show this year and planning on a 4th show as well.  Bought a 2nd controller and a large coro flag.  I've see a couple of videos of pole lights ending with a firework burst but I can't find any DIY directions on the burst.  Does anyone have tips?  Thanks

just wondering if anyone has any 4th of july seq they want to share... .I was going to do some and am still trying but havent been able to get things together.... I was planning on a nice flag... big hc one or making my own but had other things coming up and couldnt swing it this year... Just got the HC .lee file to play with and havent had much time to play with it either..

was going to see what super star could do for me with a few songs but havent had much time to play with it either. i did a couple last year for christmas but no flag was in them... mostly my mega tree, and archs and mini tree with some misc.

Anything would help me as I have a BBQ pool party for the 4th, last year had about 100 people from the local AFB and friends and family, and I do have my real flags on flag poles and run spot lights etc with archs and fire sticks but  I was planning on a 4x8 light flag but it didnt happen this year..
