So here we say "Thank You! for sharing your sequences.

I've noticed... There is a lot of sharing of sequences and not enough Thank You. Especially in the past month. (newbies, please chime in)
That can be frustrating to the ones wanting and willing to help. Just think about it for a bit...

So to the folks that have shared your hard work sequencing, THANK YOU!!!

I'm starting this, as yes, I have borrowed a couple this year (and believe I have shown my appreciation thru conversation) but I hope others will chime in to show their appreciation in their requests that were filled.

I've been an LOR user since 2005 and I know it works both ways. Giving and receiving makes life easier and makes friends.
Some folks go under the radar to fulfill that request (like myself) so we should appreciate their privacy.
A lot of work goes into sequencing a song. A lot more than some will ever know. And sometimes it's tough to share that work because it was a painstaking project at the computer for many many hours. But there has been many of folks willing to share the end product with others and pass on that passion of love. But it didn't grow on a tree or was bought at a store. It was hand made, man/woman made. It was created by human nature. It was built by an LOR member!!!
Please show your appreciation when requesting some help.

So.....

I'm here to say...

THANK YOU!!!

Good post. I rarely get shared sequences but I've noticed after reading pretty much every post on here that its practically a full time job keeping up with demand of sequences you share. I suspect it will only get worse over the next few weeks as newbies begin and we are set up with lights on. This community is so giving! Thanks to all of you who give either with sharing sequences or your vast knowledge of this whole christmas light obsession with others. Thanks. I have learned so much by just trolling on here for the past 8 years.

+1 on Santas Helper saying thanks for sharing your hard work on your creative sequences. In addition, THANK YOU to all of you who trouble shoot others hardware and software issues. This forum rocks! I have learned a lot just by reading the posts. I've said it before - for every person you help with your trouble shooting replies, there are 20 more that benefited by reading it and just didn't chime in.

As a newbie, I appreciate the sharing of sequences. I would usually look for someone that posted or offered sequences and would request a copy. If they pointed me to their website or sky drive files I would thank them on the forum. If they emailed a copy, I ALWAYS thanked them in a return email. I got my set up last year as a birthday present at the end of October and thru the kindness of the folks in this forum, I was up and running my show by thanksgiving. I have had this year to work on my own sequences and am all in on this hobby. Were it not for the folks here to help give me a shove in the right direction, who knows

I agree with this. I am not that much of a newbe but I do get a lot of shared sequences. As I work a lot of hours I don't always have time to program. So here is a big THANK YOU for all of those who have shared their sequences.

I try to always say thanks to those who have shared with me. In case i missed one i will say it again, Thanks for sharing! My show would suck if I had to totally rely on me doing a sequence from scratch.

I would like to say thank you to those that have shared with me and those who share to everyone else. I couldn't have the fun I have doing my display and I wouldn't be able to share the true meaning of Christmas without shared sequences. I know for a fact that some people wouldn't here or be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas with watching my display. So a lot of you have indirectly shared spreading the word of Christ thru me and my family's diplay in Tennessee. THANK YOU!

Dito on the sucking part.  There's NO WAY I would have the time to build many of these from scratch.  Thank you SO MUCH for all the shares...
