Thumbs up if you think the black foam in the pictured enclosure above sucks!!! It's windy and snowy up here, and I can almost stick my finger in the foam gap!

I don't think you'll have an issue. It's good for ventilation (especially with the PS's with fans in them) and as long as you don't mount your board at the very bottom, I don't think the snow will get in far enough to do any damage. I've used enclosures very similar to this for years here in Minne-snow-ta.
