You can pickup files here. If anyone wants to drop off something for me I can give them an FTP url and password...but that never happens.Dan. You may be missing this in plain sight. It worked perfectly on my machine.I think you may need to just scroll to the right or zoom out with the >< to make the cells smaller.Your file starts with a 5.8 second delay. So the first event is seen way over to the right.MohoSwitch1145 MBP <--- * 4 to get the number of centiseconds or divide by 25 to get 5.8 seconds.152 E159 etcHere are the input and output to my translator.http://itsmebob.com/Christmas/2011/DanCtest.dathttp://itsmebob.com/Christmas/2011/DanCtest.lcb
kzaas
OK Bob I did a real easy one (I thought), "Real Men Of Genious", a one minute song. I ran it through Papagayo and got all the words synced up and then exported both voices seperately into different .dat files and ran them through the translator. Once I paste the voices from the clipboard, the time is splipping, the first voice starts on time but shortens throughout the song and the second one starts out early and finishes way too early.Any ideas? Its in the upper right corner of Papagayo. I am using 25 * 4 to convert to centiseconds used by SE.
kzaas
Thanks, I was just starting to resync at 20 fps to see if that would help since my timing was set to .05 in SE, but I will restart at 25 fps.Did I miss that somewhere in this thread?
ItsMeBobO
The program could convert any FPS I guess. But right now it expects 25. But this has nothing to do with your timing marks on the grid. You should be pasting by time which ignores the grid. I have not tried it, but you could use .04 fixed grid to get it to align.
kzaas
I tried .04 and it still wouldn't align. Luckily the song is only one minute so resyncing won't take too long.
Dan C
Well, I've made a little progress. I've been trying this on my Laptop which is at my office. I did scroll to the right to see if there was anything there. But didn't see anything. So I tonight at home I tried it on my other computer.I didn't take the time to setup the actual phenom to channel grid. so I just typed in some random channels.I copied the .dat file info literally from the forum as I didn't have that dat file on my home computer, and I wasn't about to redo it all again.well, I'm glad to say it pasted something. I have no idea if it worked though as again, I didn't use the correct channels. So maybe its something with my laptop for some reason.I won't be able to try again on my laptop till Monday. But non the less, progress!!! jerrymac
Excel file solution: change the file extension from .XLS to .LLS or .SSS ect. after downloading change the file extension back to .xls and all should be good in PC land. many programs filter out files that could have macro's (.dat, .xls , .dbf etc.) as a safety factor. Of course ONLY attempt this with files you KNOW are not malicious.
Paul Roberson
Has anyone used the 'copy/paste' function in the papagayo program. I have tried it and it did nothing as far as I could see.

ItsMeBobO
A new version has been released. This one has an option to trim off leading space which has no mouth movements. This makes it easier to chop up a song into parts and them paste the clipboard in at the exact spot.
ItsMeBobO
While using Papagayo I have found a small bug in the export option. The very last mouth movement in the file is cut short. To compensate you can add an extra word to the end. Or in your sequence you can set it manually.
