  1. When it comes to arches, and I asked this question before last season, the best way I could do it was to do the arches in xlights then import them into lor. They worked beautifully every time and the timings would be perfect for the chases. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I live on a corner lot so the 360 looks awesome driving from any area around my house, but for a non-corner lot, unless you want to watch it from your house, a 180 should be fine. Remember the recommendation is 1"spacing for every 10' from the street. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I made mine from scratch by buying all of the components and parts separately from different vendors and putting them together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I had that same question almost a year ago and will tell you what I was told back then. It depends on what you like. I went with a 360 degree tree with 50 bullets per string and it looked incredible. I think the ribbons look better on a 180 and for animations but for a "traditional" looking tree, I think the bullets look awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Oh but if you do use cat5e cable make sure it's pure copper stranded. anything else will give you problems over distance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I got close to 60' on a bunch of my runs using cat 5e. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I actually asked the same question back in October. I had 8 arches that I wanted looking perfect that would do a chase and after spending countless hours trying to figure out the timing in PE,I just decided to model the arches in xlights then import the sequences right into se and it worked perfectly every time and my arches were awesome. It was really easy to do and repeatable for each of my 25 different sequences. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Here was my 360 tree with Brian's globe using 2 1/2" spacing. Each string was 50 bullet pixels held with Strips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Do bullet strips fit inside of these and if so how many strips per unit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Used only two seasons and both in great condition. Would be willing to sell them together for 330 + shipping based on your locale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. On one of my pc16's, which is connected to my PC's USBRS485 with about 125' of cat5e, every minute or two the decoration attached to port 1 will flash on for a second then turn off. The PC is a stripped down show PC running 4.3.14 with the Control Panel running 24/7. It appears that if I disconnect the cable from the USB adapter, the problem goes away. I have a spare 485B, do I need to use that to get the distance? Also, would a terminator help the issue?
  12. Only thing I've got left to do is string the frame of the house, put up a few static decorations and build the megatree. I've got 16 of the 24 strips built and plan to finish everything this weekend then comes the fun part of seeing if they all works as expected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Then how do you do it? I have s4 and xlights and I'm constantly exporting from xlights to lms then opening the lms in se then copying/pasting everything into my main sequences and if there's an easier way I'd love to know! Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks for the suggestions. I had opened a ticket and they recommended the same thing but the funny thing was that I rebooted my machine hard, completely unplugged it, and when it came back up, it worked. So not sure what happened but it looks good now so back to business
