  1. SPT 1 OR SPT 2?

And, thanks to a great company I know of, you can now order -w option. http://store.lightorama.com/sptwire.html (surely this post will get my Platinum status secured for the Spring sale)
  2. What does everyone use for their beginning show sequence?

It’s now my first song too. And of course, this is one of George’s great ones that inspired me to build the House Face this year. And if the sequencing looks familiar, well, why try to improve on perfection? Buy it here: http://clearwaterlights.org/SeqSaleInfo.html
  3. Light Strands Per Channel?

I had LED C9’s all the way around my house on the same channel the last few years, no problem. Same with my LED icicle lights. All one channel. About 45 strands each. Now as said above, about 20 or so strands end-to-end for LEDS is common. I went both directions from plug starting point - so 2 runs on the same channel for each. Again, no problem.
  4. George's Face Lives On.... Oh Yeah!

Thanks. I’m glad I did it George’ way too. Anything else wouldn’t have filled it up.
  5. We all know George is dark this year. And as sad as that is - at least his Face lives on! A better quality video later as this was with just my iPhone. But I just had to get it up and share the video now though. If you want a copy of the sequence, you can purchase a copy here: http://www.clearwaterlights.org/. Enjoy.....

  9. George's Face Lives On.... Oh Yeah!

20ft? That would do it Chet. I patterned mine 90% from George’s house. I made three 3ft x 9ft PVC frames. Covered with chicken wire. 1000 tie wraps. Bamm....
  10. George's Face Lives On.... Oh Yeah!

Thanks Tom. As we talked this weekend, about 90-95% done. Still have the front live trees to hang my big balls in. Have a few good sequences that wouldn’t load to my SD card. Will have to convert audio and run it through audacity a few times. Funny that they play great in SE, but won’t in the miniDirector. You’d think I could remember from last time.....

  12. George's Face Lives On.... Oh Yeah!

Wife just text me that one of my nieces told her my house was posted by a volleyball friend of hers on SNAPCHAT. Whatever that is. Learning to be cool must be a slow process.
  13. George's Face Lives On.... Oh Yeah!

It’s kinda lonely being cool. But I’ll get used to it......

  22. TSO Package on SD Card

I don’t think you can do anything with RTG sequences. They are not modifiable. I’ve never bought them, but that’s my understanding of RTG.
  23. 1 1/2" steal pipe

Michael, Snapped at the joint is very common. The coupling just can’t handle the stress, as you found out. I went with 1-1/4” electrical rigid pipe as discussed above. BUT I cut the threads off where the two 10ft pieces join together. Then insert this pole pin linked below. Had 66 strands plus triple star in last years ice storm with no problems. BIG test this year - adding 64 more strands... Needed a fuller look. https://www.christmaslightshow.com/pole-pin-12-for-mega-tree.html
