I'm always a day late and a dollar short when discovering things, but since I haven't seen anything posted "recently," I will go out on a limb and point out that LOR has posted support documentation - user guides - for the CCB, CCF, etc in the support section, Showtime Accessories. http://www.lightorama.com/Documentation.html If this is old news, I apologize.

Per the User Guide...I guess this is a change from what they were originally going to do: The Cosmic Color Bulbs are two 50 LED lamp bulb strings that include a controller with a built-in power supply Where they were going to sell them as a single 50 ct string, but you COULD hook up two strings per controller, and also buy them as a set of two strings...or just one. I wonder if this also means that the two strings can go end to end instead of each one needing to be plugged in directly to the controller???

We'd need to get confirmation on this, but I suspect that if you order a 50 count string, you get one string connected to a controller. If you order 2 50 count strings, you get two strings connected to the controller. (The 2 50 count strings would be connected as shown in the picture.) I don't think there is an option to connect the CCB's end to end to create a 100 count string.

Looks like end to end CCB's might be doable in the future: Page 12 of the Manual: Number of end-to-end ribbons/strings Sets the number of end-to-end connected bulb strings. This is not implemented at this time. 1. The controller supports a maximum of 50 physical pixels per bulb string. As bulb strings are added end-to-end, adjacent pixels are combined to limit the number of pixels to 50. E.g. for two bulb strings, a physical pixel becomes 2 adjacent bulbs. 2. A 2 amp 5 vdc power supply is required for each additional bulb string. This is because the voltage drop is too great for more than 50 bulbs and colors will be incorrect. Also, the CCB controller has power for a maximum of 100 bulbs (two 50-bulb strings.) 3. The theoretical limit on the number of end-to end connected bulb strings is 4.

Alright!! and TWO bulb sizes!!! Detailed Bulb Description A bulb string is 26.5 feet long, 24.5 feet of bulbs on 6” centers and a 2 foot leader to the controller. The C7 bulb bases and wires are green. The illuminated part of the C7 bulb is clear faceted plastic that diffuses the RGB LED in the bulb base. The cylindrical pixel bulbs are tubes of translucent plastic with a large RGB LED at one end. They are designed for sign construction. The following picture shows the relative bulb sizes. See page 6 for a picture!! Okay..I'm excited!! is it Christmas yet?!?!?!

It's too early to tell 100%, but it looks like there are not one, but two bulbs - C7 size and 12mm? I could be wrong, and frequently am.

Look at your post, now back to my post, now back at your post, now back to my post. Sadly, Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on a boat with the forum post your post could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love. Look again, the tickets are now diamonds. Anything is possible when your post smells like my post. I'm on a horse! Yea so I'm bored! So what post do I need to look at to find the price on these? Lol Now back to your post!

Hahaha @mmaness, just look at my post again and it will all make sense. @Jim, I really hope those prices have changed since when they were first coming out. @Jeff and Evan, Thank you sirs. I have my moments. Lol Don't get me wrong I love my LOR boards and software but let's call a spade a spade. This is just a string of lights we are talking about here, $150 for a 24" string of pixels without a controller? If I spent $150+ on one string of lights my wife would punch me in my junk and kick a puppy at the same time. Just my 2 cents.

After looking at what it would cost to get the 50 pixel string, c9 covers, power supply, controller, and shipping from china it comes up to around $88 to my porch but then of course I would have to put it all together and wouldn't have macros or the plug and play features these would offer. So if it came out to 2 strings and a controller for around $200 then it would make sense. Grrrrr why did I ever get into this hobby! LOL I have now talked myself into buying them. That poor puppy.
