To each his own here, but unless you have a spare $1500+ MacBook Pro laying around gathering dust, I would never think of buying one (Bootcamp or otherwise) to use as a dedicated sequencing or show computer. I snatched up a Toshiba Core 2 with 1Gb ram that our office was going to run thru the shredder. I spent about $150 for a new HDD and a stick of ram, restored the laptop to out of box state and have a perfectly fine show computer. I sequence on a custom built PC, dual video, 8Gb ram, HDD's run in a RAID. etc. I would rather spend the left over money on LED's.
